Version 0.30 of Sol 0 has been released! Head over to the download page to pick up the latest version. 0.30 is backwards compatible with 0.28, but not with previous versions. With this update Sol 0 is nearing a beta release. Here are a few of the changes in 0.30:
Random level generation is fixed. This was broken for some people in 0.28. It works now, and will probably be refined in the future to make the terrain a bit more textured and improve the distribution of minerals.
Forklifts can now be automated! This is a good feature that reduces some of the back and forth clicking needed to build things. If a forklift is set to 'automate', it will prioritize three tasks: unloading rockets, finishing construction that has been started, and filling pallets.
Three game speeds: slow, normal, and fast. Fast is useful if you are managing the rover or waiting for a new launch, slow is really nice if a meteorite strike wipes out part of the colony and you need to quickly move units and shut doors.
Lots of polish, including updated rocket menus, better zooming, some graphical updates, and many bug fixes. Astronauts should always die last after colonists if there is not enough food/water/beds; dozers can move more than one rock; meteorites can't knock doors off of hallways resulting in never ending air leaks; etc...
